We play everything from classic to grind to prog, as well as conduct interviews with your favorite artists. If you’re a metalhead or just want to try a new type of music, come Stay Brutal with us on WDCE 90.1 FM!
Losing My Edge is WDCE’s premier 80s show, covering all things synth-pop, post-punk, power-pop, and other types of hyphenated goodness. Hosted by University of Richmond’s Professor Tim Barney, the show schools you in the ways of that great decade of decadence, presenting 1980s music (and some late 70s material for good measure) from all over the world.
Primal Radio showcases a medley of electronic genres that strives to capture a wide variety of styles and interests. The main themes of Primal Radio tend to switch off every week from bringing the heat with hard, energetic bass music, to chilling out with fresh tracks. Just about everything electronic finds its way onto the show eventually, often aiming to represent underappreciated or underground genres and artists. Another focus of the show is on the rave scene and rave music, including old school styles and early drum and bass, dub, jungle, and even breakbeat. Primal Radio attempts to bring the best electronic music into the WDCE roster. Don’t be afraid to bust out the glowsticks every Friday to kick off your night!
A View From the Afternoon is WDCE’s Friday afternoon indie rock & pop radio show! Featuring brand new and upcoming releases and hosted by Marielle Jones, you can catch the show every Friday from 5-7pm!
