Sasha Levine is a University of Richmond student and DJ host of Mission from the Penguin.

“my show is almost entirely influenced by my father, who’s been my main source of inspiration for music, movies, and pop culture, ever since i can remember. my show’s title, mission from the penguin, is from the classic 1980 movie the blues brothers, which my father introduced me to. this show is, therefore, an ode to my father, my family, and our mutual love for music. some of my favorite bands are the smiths, joy division, she wants revenge, and the beatles, and i love any rock music, ranging from indie rock to hard rock. if any of these genres and/or bands interest you, tune in to mission from the penguin and listen in :]”
